Jayden is sick and mummy is tired and sleepy..
Jayden... He is down with cough, cold and fever.... Poor baby... Brought him to see GP le.. Now, he has to take antibotics.. So not feel like letting him have any.. Haiz.. but bo bian.. After see doc, 5 medicines has to be taken.. Poor fellow.. See him no strength like tat, i oso heart pain pain... Have to let the baby sitter take care of him in the day, den nite time is my time to suffer.. Haiz.. this is all temporary.. I shall ren!!!!

To young mummies with stretch marks.. Do apply stretch mark cream religiously.. Yes, will help a little or may even disappear...
When i am expecting Jayden, all the ugly yucky stretch marks appear! Omg.. after birth i had to wear big big tee to cover up the stretch marks.. Den slowly as days crept in, stretch marks choose to bond into my skin turning sliver colour... But who knows, i had baby no 2.. Diao... Thou i am rather heng lar... No stretch marks appear *touchwood* *pui pui*, still i am happi lar... Coz hubby bought me this!!
Yeah! Olay new released product! Body Butter Body wash!! yeah yeah.. how much i love it! This is the second time in four years that he has tackled the issue, the first being his inaugural Rally in 2004.
He announced a raft of measures that will cost the Government $700 million a year, bringing to $1.6 billion the total amount that it spends a year on promoting marriage and parenthood.
The measures include: more maternity leave for mothers, more tax incentives for having children, more subsidies for childcare, more leave for parents to care for a young child, and even subsidies for assisted reproduction techniques.
While Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng - who is in charge of population issues - will provide more details on the bulk of these measures at a press conference today, PM Lee in his Rally on Sunday night provided a few of his own.
The two Government matchmaking outfits, the Social Development Unit and the Social Development Service, will be merged so as to increase synergies.
This new outfit will also do accreditation of private sector dating agencies to ensure that they are reputable.
At the family level, parents (whether father or mother) can now take paid leave of up to six days - up from two - to care for children under seven years old.
They can also take unpaid leave of up to a week to care for infants under two years old.
The Baby Bonus cash incentives for parents will be extended beyond the fifth child.
In his Rally speech, Mr Lee sketched the philosophy behind the changes. He had arrived at his conclusions after numerous discussion with focus groups and dating agencies, he said.
The systematic approach focused on four areas: getting people married; helping those married to have and bring up children; helping parents maintain a work-life balance; and finally, helping married couples to conceive.
A frequent theme undergirding many of his points was the need for gender roles to be more equalised. Couples, for instance, should share responsibilities for taking care of children, including changing baby nappies.
The Prime Minister proudly recalled how he had changed diapers for his children after he got married, and that he had done so without pricking any babies. 'If I can do it, that means anybody can do it,' he said, beaming.
Another frequent theme: the financial cost of having babies. This, he noted, was paradoxically felt more keenly by higher-income women, as they have to forego more in income in order to have time to care for a baby.
The Government will build up the childcare sector, he pledged, by doing three things: increasing the subsidies per child; increasing the quality of care at the centres, and increasing the number of places.
Similarly, the Government will be enhancing the kindergarten sector - already a very 'lively' one, he noted.
Singapore's baby woes go back many years, following the success of an earlier campaign to get parents to 'Stop at Two'. That was 'fabulously successful', as Mr Lee noted wryly.
The total fertility rate, that is the number of babies per married woman, has plunged below the replacement rate of 2.1 since 1975.
The rate last year was 1.29, putting Singapore in the company of countries like Japan and Korea which also have dangerously low rates.
Concerted Government measures to lift it have resulted in only minimal gains.
Mr Lee pointed out on Sunday that the number of babies born a year correlated with economic conditions - the 1985 recession, the 1997 financial crisis, the 2001 terrorism attacks and Sars in 2003 all saw drops in the total fertility rates.
Singapore's declining fertility rate is a long-term problem that will require periodic revisits, he stressed.
Indeed, Mr Lee's latest measures come just four years after he extended the maternity leave to three months, and eight years after the previous prime minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong, introduced the Baby Bonus scheme.
Mr Lee's plea to Singaporeans on Sunday night: 'Please put emphasis on marriage, on family: Make these your priorities, have a full and happy life.'

Sometimes it is not We, Singaporeans, dun wan to give birth.. Juz tat juz the medical fees for check up and delivery alone can come up to thousands and thousands of $$$$... After which, diapers, Formula milk, clothes, long term education, insurance...etc, all these needs $$$$... Now Singapore society is no longer like the 50s or 60s where living is simple, a bowl of noodles onli cost u like 5 cents or 10 cents.... Now, how much will a bowl of noodles cost us, $3 to probably $5! Can see how much our society have changed? So government onli want us to give birth to more and more babies, considered our financial status? Probably yes, probably no...

Now talk abt my mood for today.. 2 words, 心寒.. Why? Coz all these things will happen over and over again during the weekends.. Worse still now i am expecting no 2.. Why can't he take up the responsibility of taking care of Jayden over the weekends while i rest? Yes, he is oso working, i am working too! What Jayden need is his daddy to play with him.. Why can't he juz put his computer games off his mind and play with Jayden? Is the game so much more important than the son? I need my rest now.. Like now, i am totally drained off.. Forget it.. I am totally sian of him and his family...
Like this morning, when i am able to step out of the lift, no one bother to hold the lift and ended up, i am being clamped by the lift door... Ya great! All the their attention is on Jayden and not me.. I am also as important as Jayden.. Without me, will there be Jayden? Yes, he can choose another woman to give birth, but not necessary Jayden will end up there! haiz.. If such case realli ends up like tat, den should this house be sold after my birth, i will move over to my mum's and stay until they found another house.. I dun wan to end up getting more trouble for myself.. Enuff of such rubbish.. I am tired of him and his stupid attitude.. If he wan to be like tat den he can jolly well continue on.. I wun give it a damn.. if he wants to OT, OT all he wan.. I rather spend the nite with Jayden than to getting myself so hurt.. I am tired.. Sick and tired..
Ppl may see my marriage as a happy and xin fu one.. but i am not.. i am getting myself totally hurt.. so hurt tat i am afraid.. i am getting so timid... So so timid.. i fear lost of Jayden and him but he will nv understand such fear of my... Haiz... Forget it.. He will nv understand the pain i am suffering again and again...

Updates on me and baby #2
Recently, been having serious pubic bone pain.. This matter has been going on for mths.. but from Monday nite(11th Aug 2008) onwards, it has gotten worse.. Turn my body the pubic bone area will pain until i cannot slp well... Tuesday morning, things turn bad.. cannot walk fast... Onli can walk slowly but oso pain.. End up afternoon i did not work, had to go home rest.. Haiz..
Ytd whole day at home rest, at nite hubby brought me to the GP to see doc... According to GP, it is due to a kinda hormones called Relaxin(isn't it supposed to help my bones to relax instead of causing pain??). Before preggy, our pelvic bone are all in their place together.. During preggie, our pelvic bone will start to loosen up and rub against each other causing pain.. Some preggy ladies will experience backache, as for my case, it is pubic bone pain.. Onli painkiller can help.. Argh!! So sway!! i wanna die alreadi lar.. Tml will be seeing Dr Yeap.. Shall ask her in details abt this matter...
Baby#2 been active and good.. Onli mummy is sleepy and all tired...
Today going to celebrate Priscilla's 22nd bdae! Happi bdae ger! Mani things have happened in this 1 yr... Shall see u tonite!

Jayden is currently 21 mths old..
My boy has grown up.. His mouth juz cannot stop.. He will go on chatter chatter, telling you mani mani things happening ard him.. Juz tat sometimes, you are able to understand wad he is trying to tell u, sometimes no.. And now, He will pass to us his little precious(chow chow/tigger no 1/tigger no 2) and run the way he wants to, leading us to running after him.. Yup, i too will have to run after him despite being preggy.. No excuse...
Having him ard, hearing his noisy chatter, you wun feel lonely.. Makes my life so much more in the place, esp when hubby had to OT at times... No regrets giving birth to him... I will uploads pix of him after i get back my lappy.. Lappy with my brother..
